OMD (OMD named Global Media Agency of the Year by Adweek and US Agency of the Year by Advertising Age) is an integrated communications agency which delivers media and marketing solutions globally. On April 18, 2012, the company gathered together top, senior-level clients and executives from the Hollywood Entertainment space to share ideas and brainstorm. In its quest to engage the audience, OMD turned to Red Fish Media to design, develop and power a Text2Screen campaign via Red Fish Media’s proprietary software, Textomatic. This campaign allowed attendees to ask questions and provide commentary in real-time via their mobile device. Attendees were prompted to text in their questions or comments. Once the text was received it was displayed on the main stage screen and addressed by OMD moderators. This allowed for a smooth and seamless Q & A and a personal yet a forward thinking, technology-based interaction between OMD and its clients.
